What is AAC?

Try Out AAC For Yourself!

Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) is, simply, anything people use to help them communicate. For many people it can be a device or flipbook that they use to geneate speech, or to share thoughts or ideas.

If you've never seen someone use AAC before then it might be surprising at first, but everyone deserves ways to express themselves, and to be listened to and respected by those around them -- and AAC can be fun!

We are committed to helping Utahns -- and everyone -- understand just how much of a difference AAC can make. We want to support everyone, regardless of where they are on their AAC journey.
